About Goldenberry

Goldenberries, also known as Physalis or Cape gooseberries, are small, round fruits enclosed in a thin, papery husk. They are typically bright orange to yellow in color and grow on plants in the nightshade family, which also includes tomatoes. Goldenberries are native to South America, particularly Peru and Colombia, and thrive in warm, temperate climates. They have a smooth skin and contain many small seeds inside. The fruit is usually harvested when the outer husk dries and peels back naturally, indicating ripeness. Goldenberries have been cultivated for centuries and are now grown in various parts of the world.
